Both Act and Thought are Sin In Homosexuality

E-mail Print PDF

In early 2018 I read an article that said:

“We want to be very clear that ‘being homosexual’ is not a sin. It may be pathological and keep someone from full communion with the Almighty, but ‘being’ that way inclined is not a sin. It is doing homosexual acts which is sinful.”

And

“In response to those homosexuals who snarl, ‘So I’m a http://www.macleans.ca/society/health/how-your-brain-heals-itself/ n abomination, am I?’ we need to say having same-sex desires itself is not an ‘abomination’. Nor is any individual homosexual an abomination. That is, not until their doing becomes their being. There comes a point where your day-to-day sinful activity defines you.

And we have to say that promoting such activity to school children is an abominable thing to do as well. Moreover, I strongly believe that such depravity provides an open invitation to the demonic.”

Both statements are wrong. Indeed, they are unbiblical. This article will explain why. Please note that the basic premise being stated is to be found in arguments made by many liberal and unbiblical persons and organisations, and the statements are typically charismatic/Arminian/Roman Catholic. But, they obtained their arguments from propaganda put out by homosexual activists, such as Stonewall. Sadly, they are also copied by countless unwary Christians to the detriment of both Christian safety and biblical truth. The comments are evidence of lack of knowledge. I mean in-depth knowledge, not just book knowledge, as close associates can testify.

Cogito ergo sum

(There can be a number of interpretations of this statement, but I restrict the meaning required by our subject matter). This is often translated as “I think therefore I am”. That is, one’s existence and life are determined by what and how we think. No man can simply live, free of thought. Indeed, thought is as much an action as physical activity itself. A number of philosophers came/come to this conclusion. A modern philosophy site starts its explanation with “Thought is always an action” (https://www.quora.com/When-is-thought-an-action ). It continues to say that thought can change and shape our abilities and functions. Indeed, this is as old as the Old Testament! I agree with the explanation because it is obviously true and also works out in everyday life.

Perhaps some readers wonder why we are talking about philosophy. Firstly, philosophy is only how and what we think. It is a legitimate activity. Scripture only speaks ill of the ‘philosophies of men’. Theology itself is just a form of philosophy, but rooted in God and arising from His declarations; so it is the ‘philosophy (and study) of God’. It is true that secular philosophers usually get things wrong, but, I am often prompted by them to look again at my own scriptural beliefs, to see if how and what I think is true. The arguments of unbelievers can often stir us to examine our own beliefs and actions.

"Thinking can not only affect the way your brain works but its physical shape and structure as well…. Imagination and action are actually integrated and engage the same neural pathways, practicing one influences the other." (normandoidge.com)

I read an equivalent neurological argument about ten years ago. It means that if we indulge in a mental activity for long enough, it will literally alter the way our brain is structured and how it responds to certain stimuli. The brain then ‘follows’ these like instructions, much as drug addicts are controlled by their chemically-induced desires, which become habitual. Very recently, a neuroscience study came to similar conclusions.

Over many years I have noted how homosexuals (that is heterosexuals who have chosen a foul sexual perversion), when they continue in their sin, seem unable to change their ways and, indeed, become more determined to act sexually promiscuously and perversely. In a short time they tend to act ‘off the wall’, and this is identifiable in their very thoughts. At the early stage they could stop their actions, but then they cannot, because their brain has been altered by their wicked thoughts. Their outward actions are just a presentation of what is happening in their minds (often called ‘hearts’ in scripture). (See ‘The Brain That Changes Itself’, Norman Doidge, 2008, Penguin).

(This is not evolutionary determinism. It is what happens to ANY person who insists on following a wrong path, no matter what sin it builds upon; the unsaved mind is NOT free to choose anything but evil. The idea of having ‘free will’ is also an error, because no man can possibly have it. See my articles).

In the same way I have treated psychiatric patients (including homosexuals in the 1970s) whose determination to continue in their behaviour changed the way they thought and acted. I also noted that when psychiatrists in the UK followed those in the USA, only then did homosexuals begin to argue that their behaviour was ‘natural’. Of course, they had to have those thoughts in the first place. Now, this paper is not a full-on research piece. It is written in a low-key to remind Christians that ALL human beings think before they act, and that the sinful predilections of the unsaved lead them like slaves to commit sin. Even those actions we imply are ‘spontaneous’ are rooted in how we think as individuals.

Graham Cooke wrote: “Before we choose an action, we have already chosen a thought” (www.brilliantperspectives.com ).

“There is a reason why the Father tells us to take our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Because every action has a starting place. Every strong emotion has a beginning.

All transformation originates in renewed thinking (Romans 12:2). How we think about ourselves dominates our behavior (Proverbs 23:7) and sets our agenda in life towards other people.

Simply put, how we think about ourselves sets the attitude in which we approach life.”

We know that an unsaved man CANNOT change himself, because there is no such thing as ‘free will’ (it is illogical and a fallacy; see my various articles on this). We know his thoughts are ALWAYS wrong – he is incapable of thinking godly or good thoughts (even the ‘good’ they do is as ‘filthy rags’ and sinful). We know his actions are ALWAYS sin. This is because he is “of his father, the devil”. The unsaved are chained hand and foot to Satan and CANNOT alter what they think and do... but what they think is sinful and the sinful thoughts dictate how they act and what they say. Not all do horrendous things, but they are still enslaved to Satan. (Note: Whilst I can easily quote other human beings as examples, my main and only authoritative source is God’s word).

Thoughts Precede Action

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” (Mark 7:21-23)

Note that whatever a man does physically comes firstly from ‘within’. That is, esōthen, which in this text means the inward man. Thus, his actions are founded on his own well-established thoughts on the sin he practices. Concerning behaviour, scripture does not differentiate thought and deed; both are the same in God’s eyes. The thoughts are found in the “heart”, kardia, of men. In this text it refers to the soul or mind, the centre of the man’s spiritual life, emotions and thoughts. These determine what a man is truly like – he is what he thinks, so it is part of him, guiding his actions: esōthen. The actions are only an extension of his being; one is inward, the other is outward, rather like the same coin having two sides.

In the verses above, do you note how many of the sinful attributes can be found in homosexuals? ALL of them! (Note that ‘fornication’ is a ’branch’ of adultery, and includes homosexuality). ALL these “evil things” come from within, and what comes from within “defiles a man”. Very clearly, how a man thinks determines how he acts. He might hide strong urges to do this or that, but once he breaks through what is called a ‘taboo’ he gives licence to his mind and actions to do whatever is desired. The taboo is set by God in our consciences, so even if a man or woman is groomed at a young age to do what is evil, his or her conscience still prods them to think again. Thus, they KNOW what they do is wrong, despite protestations often repeated by well-meaning believers.

In James 1:13 -15, we read that NO man can blame God when he is tempted. Rather, when he is tempted it is because Satan recognises a propensity to commit a particular sin to be part of the man’s character and thinking. If the man resists (which actively means pushing the thoughts away) he will be safe. But, if he fails, his innermost being tells him to commit the sin proposed by the temptation. This is because “he is drawn away by his own lust”. The enticement works because the thought is already there, waiting to be prodded. This lust within then bursts forth as outward sin, which ends in death... but the lust is also sin. Bear in mind this text advises believers... unbelievers can ONLY commit sin.

It is a fact that when a man enters the dark world of homosexuality, he has already spent a long time in gestation. The first outward act of sexual sin always follows an inner desire to do it... and their involvement in homosexuality arises from long hours, days, weeks, months or even years thinking of sexual perversion. The gestation period is NOT temptation, but a deliberate musing on the subject – sin. This becomes all-pervasive and obsessional until the person ‘has’ to ‘come out’. Bravery has nothing to do with it – it is the man’s way of admitting to his sin and a ‘need’ to make it public. However, before ‘coming out’ he or she indulges in secret liaisons, and this is how many become infected by HIV and other exotic diseases.

That point of ‘coming out’ is a sign that the filth within cannot be held back any longer. The person is compelled by Satan to not just admit to his sin, but to brazenly act it out before the world. This is when his sins are given freedom to do whatever they wish, even if it means contracting an awful disease. Note that this ‘freedom’ is not free at all, but is like a dog kept on a leash by its owner – in this case, Satan. Thus, the sinner is only ‘free’ to act sinfully at the behest of the owner. Only God can break the leash and start a process of repentance and turning from sin.

The same thoughts and desires spoken of earlier are repeated in Romans 1. The list given can be applied to all homosexuals. This is why Jeremiah says that those who sin “walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart”. How they thought was how they acted. The writer I refer to made a big mistake, because what he says implies that a man can act homosexually and yet not be sinful or blamed, because only the physical act is to be judged as unworthy. It seems he fails to see the sin of homosexuality is actually many sins combined, and is based on hatred for God and holiness, and a generalised increasing lust after hedonism and hatred for authority. These traits are very evident in homosexuals, but hardly known to casual observers, including Christians. (See article on this). In my work with them, and later, these full-on overall evils have been made plain. Time and again I found that a person is what he does, because what he does is the effluent of his mind.

It is, then, a fallacy and bad teaching to suggest only the homosexual physical act is sin. The thoughts attached to it are equally sinful and so equally deserving of a penalty. Few Christians understand the judicial nature of our relationship to God. God chooses who will be saved. The man is saved after his spirit has been regenerated (born again), from which comes salvation itself. Once saved we are expected to think and do what is moral, right, pure, holy. This is God’s requirement of us in return for His salvation, and it is binding. Anything outside this is sin. And when we are tempted we sin only if we continue the sudden thought into fantasy.

This is why we must train our minds in the things of God – the more we do this the weaker becomes the effect of Satan’s barbs and temptations. But, even the weakest sting can do us harm. That is why we must be wary of those who say they battle their inward temptations daily. Often, this is a sign not of active fighting of evil, but a refusal to come away from it. If they get that many temptations about the same thing every day, there is a spiritual problem.

Sin is an offence against God, the King and Judge. It breaks down our relationship with Him. And He MUST judge in this lifetime even if we notice no immediate threat of a penalty. As Believers we must learn about this judicial relationship, for as an earthly crime requires a penalty or remedy, so a sin requires a response from the Lord – which He will ALWAYS give. Love does not displace this. I have written on this topic elsewhere. Suffice to say that when we sin we MUST repent immediately, or we incur His wrath. There is no ‘extra time’ – we MUST repent immediately.

Both Acts and Thoughts are Equally Sinful

Now, an unbeliever who commits homosexual acts does so because his thoughts are already fixed on doing them. Such a man is already bound for hell because of his unsaved state, so he is judged for both this and his sins. It is biblical fact that homosexuality, like murder, invokes serious consequences, and are given much attention in scripture because of this. It is an error to think all sins are the same. (See my article on how God ‘majors’ on homosexual sins).

Very few who take up the homosexual life of evil are ever saved. But, their potential salvation must never cause us to treat what they do lightly. Nor may we continually try to change them – this being an Arminian error that always fails. A parallel teaching is from Christ, Who told His disciples that they should preach once in a place; if the inhabitants do not listen, then the disciples must show contempt and never go back. That teaching is about evangelism, but it equally applies to giving counsel. In psychiatry I allotted very little time to counsel, because the Spirit would show whether or not the patient was listening or was serious. (see articles on this). If attention is made, I would continue but would start at the need for repentance. Even then, I cannot dwell on it unduly – this is because regeneration is in the hands of the Holy Spirit, not me. My duty is to plant a seed. If this has no effect, I walk away. This is the ‘nitty-gritty’ of godly counsel, something very few who counsel understand.

It is not the duty of Christians to harass or continually plead with sinners to be saved, or to stop their sins. Nor is it a duty to continually warn Christians who sin in a way that is made public. We only warn once, then a second time if this is not heeded. The third time we cast them out of fellowship. This reflects God’s own heart on the matter. (As referred to in my PhD thesis). And it is seen in real life.

Are There Predisposing Factors?

It is true that many who enter into homosexuality do so after being abused or groomed as a child or young teenager. But, in the eyes of God preconditions do not alter His judgment. God, when looking at sin, sees the sin and not any human actions that lead to it. They are irrelevant in terms of judgment. That is, the sin of homosexuality is condemned outright and the penalty is death. The penalty cannot be withheld, unless the sinner confesses his sin and repents. This includes turning his back on homosexuality and all its allied thoughts and actively doing what is holy. This is why I view those who insist they are plagued by homosexual temptations as suspect. It usually tells me they are not serious about purity of heart and life.

I would remind readers that if a man commits first degree murder, God demands the death penalty, still demanded today. This penalty has no second chances. So, even if a murderer repents (which means he has been saved and forgiven) the penalty must STILL be applied, because God gives no other remedy. I once knew the poor mother of the last man hanged for murder in the UK, and she understood this need of God to take a murderer’s life.

In the same way, God condemns homosexuality outright. The only remedy is that the sinner is born again, then saved, and then lives his life free of the sin or its lingering thoughts. Yet, Christians must be very careful not to suggest to the homosexual that he can get ‘benefits’ from God by repenting. Why? Because most men will lie about a change of heart, just to obtain supposed ‘benefits’. I have seen this many times in Elim churches, for example, who love to take drug addicts et al under their wings. But, the super-charged atmosphere only holds them for so long – then they fall back into their bad habits and sin. In reality, they never left them. What they were encouraged to join was a fake Christian atmosphere, and so their own enthusiasm will only last as long as they are surrounded by the group (group dynamics). This is counter-scripture, for each saved person stands alone before God in terms of his salvation, thinking and acts. If we need constant boosting from a group, then our salvation is suspect.

So, any preceding wickedness by others that leads a man (or woman) into the sin, does not affect the judgment or the penalty. Only salvation will stop the end result of going to hell. However, no man or woman can choose this remedy. He or she is either elect in eternity or they are not. Few are elect and there is no ‘free will’ to ‘choose’ salvation. Therefore, the majority of those who are homosexual, whether or not they have been groomed or misled, will go to hell (besides, even if groomed, etc., they STILL know they are doing wrong). So, Christians must learn the truth and not repeat lies. Those who say “only the action” is to be judged are very wrong, and are repeating the ideas put forth by Roman Catholicism, Arminianism, charismaticism, and those sects affected by heresy. And, as already stated, THEY get their falsity from Satan via homosexual activists.

The thought is as potent as the action. This is what Jesus said!

“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment”

And

“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

(Matthew 5: 21, 22 and 27,28)

So there you have it. If we THINK sinfully it is equally open to the same guilt and penalty given to physical manifestations of that sin. There are no excuses for preconditions (a ridiculous excuse is often put as “The devil made me do it”). Sin is sin, whether in thought or deed, and whether encouraged by others, or not. This should cause many to take fright if their spirits are in tune with the Lord! God holds His hand out to those who are genuine, but not to those who refuse the remedy.

Guilt is Deserved, Always

Let me repeat - a person is guilty before God if he or she performs the sin of homosexuality (or any of its myriad offshoots - the latest being transgenderism). He or she is equally guilty and worthy of death if they THINK homosexual thoughts. These can be defined as any thoughts that go beyond the temptation-thoughts we all get to commit ANY sin. These are transitory and fleeting, but just a few seconds dwelling on such sin is itself sin.

God tells us His remedy for the guilt of sin is death and hell. There is no way to combat this penalty. Only salvation can counter this awful judgment. However, some sins, though granted pardon on this earth, might have an ongoing judgment. Murder is one such earthly effect, where the death penalty must still be applied even if the killer genuinely repents and is saved.

The same dire consequences are attached to homosexuality in all its forms. I would repeat – prior grooming, abuse, or other circumstance, will not alter the judgment, so no Christian may offer sympathy for those in this wicked sin that damages the very image of God in mankind. All we can do is be empathic, because we can all fall into a dangerous pit of sin. That is where it stops, for anything else is to condone the sin. Those who do not understand this scriptural fact should not attempt to offer counsel.

Indeed, true counsel is prompted by the Holy Spirit, and if He does not directly prompt, do not dare to ‘go there’. In my own life I have sometimes been asked to intervene or to counsel, but have had to refuse, because the Spirit has not commanded me to do so. I have the same ‘rule’ when writing articles, or for my Sunday Bible studies, etc.

Let me make it clear:

God hates both homosexuals and what they do. Many Christians try to sweeten the blow by saying that ‘orientation’ is separate. No, it is not! As I have shown (because Christ warns us), both the thought and the act are equally sinful and deserving of God’s wrath.

Unbelievers who choose homosexuality (yes, it is a choice) are condemned to hell. Full stop. If the Lord has elected a very few, they WILL be saved and WILL come away from their evil ways. But, meddling Christians should never ‘cold call’ an unbelieving homosexual with promises that Jesus will ‘heal’ them. This is Arminian nonsense and can often be found in a variety of Pentecostal and Anglican churches. God will move an active homosexual by His Spirit, not by our arguments.

Some homosexuals are so because they are demon possessed. I have seen them myself. Their evils are different from others, though they present the same front. These cannot be ‘delivered’ unless God tells us this will happen. Even then, very few will be delivered from demonosis.

What of people groomed or otherwise abused? If they are unsaved, it makes no difference, for what they do NOW is sin. Even if they were taken at a young age by wicked men or women, the ones groomed STILL know it is wrong. And most enter into such nasty relationships because they want what is offered – sweets, alcohol, drugs, etc. Look at it this way – when people skulk around and do things in secret, it is very clear they KNOW what they are doing is wrong. So, do not rely on ‘airy-fairy’ thoughts!

What about unsaved men and women who say they cannot get rid of their sinful thoughts? They are not our problem unless God moves them to seek help. But, even then, we can do nothing if they are unsaved. I now no longer counsel unsaved men and women.

What about saved men and women who entered into homosexuality before being saved? If they have truly repented and sought God’s face, He will indeed guide them quite swiftly out of their former thinking – because it is now dead and ready to be buried! So, if such a person complains of continuous temptation of an homosexual nature, I would be very suspicious of their salvation and their motives. But, you might object – homosexuality is a foul sin so it can take a long time to get rid of. Such ideas belittle and devalue the power of God and the real activity of the now saved spirit. With ANY temptation to sin, if it keeps crowding the person’s mind, then there is something else wrong. It is highly likely that the person, though complaining, is not really seeking full removal of his temptations. Or, that he or she was not saved in the first place.

What about Christians who say they entered homosexuality AFTER their salvation? Was that person truly saved in the first place? When did the temptations begin? How did they respond to them? There are many questions to ask, but it is a fact that God looks upon them with anger, for their continuous temptations are NOT a sign of an active Christian. It is a recent error on the part of interested Christians that we should be at that tempted person’s side for as long as it takes, and to lend support, etc. I see none of this in scripture!

Sin Must Stop IMMEDIATELY

There is every indication in God’s word that when the Holy Spirit guides a person, he will act promptly. If help is needed, it will be given and the Christian must respond positively and swiftly. In God’s economy repentance must be NOW, and any remedial actions must happen IMMEDIATELY. As I have said before, God does not give ‘extra time’ for us to think carefully and imagine how we might change our lives! When we know something is sin it is our responsibility to STOP it immediately. There is no stopping in degrees.

I am not being harsh. I am being realistic and biblical. I apply the same spiritual rules to myself, so I am not being judgmental. I urge all readers to bear in mind that homosexuality is accorded special condemnation by God Himself. Those who have read my articles on what homosexuality really means will know just how heinous it is. It is a foul spiritual disease that spreads foul physical disease, and it is especially hated by God. Everything about it is evil and wrong.

We must have nothing to do with it. The only time we should offer counsel to an homosexual is if we are prompted directly by the Holy Spirit to do so... the first contact being to warn of God’s wrath because the sin is wicked and is sufficient to condemn the person. Also, the person must be prompted by God to contact us. However, if that person does not show change soon, we must cut contact.

Do not condone homosexuality by your silence. Do not offer it sympathy by suggesting ‘orientation’ is separate. It is as vile as the action. Sadly, huge numbers of Christians try to distinguish the two, when God does not. So, they become a big part of the problem. Our duty is plain – condemn this sin and warn that non-compliance with God’s mercy and grace will be met with hell. We must NEVER ‘love’ those whom God hates.

Remember – if anyone (even an angel, to quote scripture concerning the Gospel) tells you the act is not the same as the thought, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. If someone well-known, or a public figure, or a pastor, or a teacher, or a doctor, says it – DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. The heart and mind of homosexuals is more evil than you might think. It is constantly preparing itself for homosexual ideas and desires. It is a cesspit full of sewage and, I can assure you (from homosexual ‘leaders who say so), we have “seen nothing yet” – the worst evils have yet to be revealed and is part of the ‘gay strategy’. Those who search these things in their own minds do not seem to grasp the enormity of this sin so savaged by God Himself! They are blinded by the false theology in our churches, the ‘niceness’ of homosexuals they meet, the feigned emotional woes of others, and by ‘official’ statements and laws.

“Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.” (Proverbs 23:6-8)

Television in particular, and the rest of the media, are currently racing ahead to prepare everyone for acceptance of an evil that has already killed millions. They use special ‘documentaries’, and serials such as ‘Neighbours’. They use comedians and commentators. At the time of writing there is a foul series on TV, called ‘Transformation Street’. The number of advertisements containing homosexuals is increasing. It is all due to government policy, first devised by Stonewall.

The aim is to make every homosexual, man or woman, appear to be ‘normal’ and ‘nice’. I have met with these ‘nice’ people face-to-face; I have treated them; I have unfortunately worked with them; I have been viciously attacked by them. None of them has been ‘nice’! As the verse above shows, such a one only has his desires in his mind, devouring every cell of his body. He cares nothing for you and is more than prepared to destroy society so as to get his or her own way. And if you are nose-led by these ideas you will, as proverbs says, end up vomiting! Homosexuality is ugly, foul, and highly dangerous; above all it rejects and discards God and His laws.

Homosexuals are an ‘abomination’! Do not give them credibility nor praise or support.

Leviticus tells us that being homosexual is an abomination. The term applies to both the act and the one enacting it. Both are morally ‘disgusting’ and ethically ‘wicked’. The one doing it is condemned because he is the one who causes the act. The act cannot appear on its own, and the act is a physical portrayal of the one thinking it. Thus, both are the same... “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

The wise will give no leeway at all to homosexuals and what they say and do. They must be opposed at every turn and denied a place of equality. Sin cannot be equal to holiness. The unsaved sinner is not equal to the saved sinner. And what we say and do is what we are. Both body and thought stand condemned they are against the Lord and His commands. They are “without excuse”.

No doubt those already sympathetic to some homosexuals will call what I say ‘harsh’. This does not bother me, for I have the word of God as my guide. And I have literally and factually had to fight through the fire of homosexual hatred and their threats of death against me. Though I have no reason whatever to side with homosexuals, my conclusions do not come from my life experiences, but from what God says. The interesting thing is that I did not investigate what homosexuality really stood for until they vented their evil anger on me! I saw much when I ‘treated’ them in hospital, and that was bad enough, but the full extent of their wickedness did not hit me until later.

I remind readers that I was aware of what happened in the USA, when homosexual activists goaded and threatened American psychiatrists to ‘vote’ for the removal of homosexuality from mental illness categories. The subsequent cowardly decision to do so then made its way to the UK, and so, by the end of the 1970s, homosexuality began to gain respectability, but only because the huge number of genuine psychiatric and psychological studies calling homosexuality a mental imbalance, were buried and ignored!

Until that UK moment came, homosexuals were not aggressive and acknowledged that what they thought and did was wrong. Hence the use of behavioural desensitivity techniques. What they did was to make the person feel physically sick when they attempted to perform homosexual acts. (There were other objectives). Some might argue that this did not cure the underlying sin. This is true, but, I prefer someone being stopped an outward expression of their sin so that it did not spread to others, than nothing at all. I have the same attitude towards treatment of this kind for violence and other serious problems.

So, pre-category-change homosexuals were VERY different from post-category-change homosexuals, who became open, aggressive, violent, and highly deceptive. We all allowed this to happen, and so government was swayed to adopt what they demanded. However, far worse is to come. That is why EVERYTHING homosexual MUST be denounced, with no excuse given. In the Old Testament they were put to death or thrown out of Israel. What Christian is willing to follow this example? Homosexuals are as evil as men and women get, and they hate us and our God. Do not give even one concession (such as denying the thought is sinful), because each concession is a triumph for Satan against the truth of God.
